Amazin' Amazon Mystery Animals

Mystery Animal #12 - Answer: Anteater

Anteaters have no teeth and very weak jaws and, therefore, cannot chew. Instead, they just slurp and swallow - mostly ants and termites. Some kinds of anteaters climb trees to find their wriggly meals - but the one in the picture, the giant anteater, always stays on the forest floor. It has a long bushy tail which it uses like a blanket when sleeping.
