Amazin' Amazon Mystery Animals

Mystery Animal #10 - Answer: Golden Lion Tamarin

Tamarins are small members of the monkey family that seem to compete with each other over hairstyles. Some of them have mustaches, some have beards, and one, the emperor's tamarin, appears to have shared hairdressers with Albert Einstein! But probably the most well known of all tamarin's, the golden lion tamarin, has a golden mane that makes it resemble its African  namesake. Golden lion tamarins do look like lions, but since they weigh in at only a few pounds, it would take a whole tree full of them to equal just one lion in size.
