Hi, my name is Cai Wei. I'm demonstrating how to make a Chinese water painting. Water painting is a very old but still popular style of painting in China. Water paintings most often depict natural scenes and landscapes. Bamboo, grapes, flowers, shrimp, fish, cats, crabs, cranes, mountains and rivers are the most common themes. (You can see another of my paintings on the home page.)
