Mystery Animal #7 Answer: King Cobra
This poem was written to evoke the image of the grim reaper. The King Cobra is the largest poisonous snake in the world. Its 'hollows' are its hollow fangs, through which the poison passes, and its 'shades'' are the false eye spots it has on the back of its hood. Ssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
