A few weeks later, as was the custom after eating at a friend's house, Rabbit returned a dinner invitation to Termite.  Termite accepted and was delighted to see the table covered with many delicious uncooked foods when she walked into Rabbit's house.  She didn't even notice that there was no butter, and she thanked Rabbit very courteously for the invitation.  Rabbit welcomed his guest with much pomp and ceremony, then proceeded to cook with great flair.  He put the frying pan on the fire, and, when it was hot, he said to Termite, "Notice - no butter!"  Then, Rabbit lifted himself over the frying pan and sat down right in the middle of it.
