Safari! Animal #18 - What do you mean 'what am I looking for? A corpse, of course: the vulture.
Tai in Swahili means vulture. There's nothing on earth vultures would rather do than disembowel a savanna animal which has recently croaked (and we're not talking about frogs here!). In fact, they have an odd physical characteristic which helps them to pursue this peculiar pastime: bald heads. And it's a good thing. Just think of the mess they would make otherwise. Or, maybe you'd rather not. Oh well, even in nature someone has to clean up. Vultures just do it in a particularly gory fashion.
