New name -- same programs and services!
In September, 2007, the Creative Connections Project became a nonprofit organization and we changed our name to OneWorld Classrooms in the process. Along with our new name, we have a new Web site, a new registration form and a new newsletter format; but our main programs and services -- offering FREE Travel & Learn Online content and providing opportunities for K-12 classes to interact with overseas partners -- remain the same. As OneWorld Classrooms, we do hope to offer our programs and services to many new schools in many new countries; but our mission remains the same: to build cross-cultural understanding in the context of the K-12 curriculum through the arts and technology. In 2008/2009, we will be offering Free Travel & Learn Online content, Global Connections and Classroom Connections. We will also be adding new content to our Electronic Cultural Exchange Library and Student to Student Language Lab throughout the school year. We welcome you and your school to participate.
